Lesson Two Event Options

A function of the United States government is to protect “relationships needed to expand commercial ties that drive American prosperity.” Students will examine familiar historic world events and consider the role consumerism played in those events. Teachers may wish to use one or more of these events, depending on their classroom curriculum.
